As we all know parts are expensive in Europe and now with the current conversion rate you can get almost $1.50 for your 1€. So, getting things from the other side of the pond can be worthwhile. Unfortunately, shipping can be very high. Ask your seller if he can ship USPS ( regular US postal service ) for some reason most vendors like to work with UPS who will charge you $200 for a light bulb. USPS does it a lot cheaper, check the rates yourself on http://ircalc.usps.gov/ If you are buying from a person instead of a company please remind them they have to fill out a customs form at the post office. No additional cost, Euro customs just wants to know what’s in the package. Another option is to buy multiple items from the same guy, maybe with a group of friends or through a group buy we can set up here. Happy hunting. PS: be aware that shipping from LA ( Los Angeles ) can be more then from NY ( New York )...why? LA is a lot further away from us. |

So what if your seller doesn't want to ship to Europe or is asking a rediculous price for it? Ask on the general forum! As there are a lot of guys who live in the US one of them might want to help you out! That's how I got my chrome grille inlay, I probably have the only KJ in Europe that has that. Thanks to a guy in NY state who I got to know on the forum. Now you do have to have a little trust, since we all have KJ's the one who's supposed to ship your item might also fit the part on his own car and be never heard from. But that's not my experience, people who are on these forums are all KJ fanatics and realy want to help you out! So have faith and use Paypal. |

You may ask your seller if he can write 'toy gift' or 'sample' on the custums form. Might help.... |
