Uffe: Where can you buy the OME kit for for "only" EUR 1.100?

I paid EUR 1.463 for the OME HD kit and to get it installed (Team Bertelsen)!

But it really makes the ride nicer.

And it lifted the car at least 2" inches in the front and close to 3" in the back.

And no problem with the inspection guys - our car has just passed the first check.

Hehe ... Team-Bertelsen is where I got my price quote from. That was just for the parts, not for the install :(

I know a guy who can help me put it on.

Do you have any problems with the upper control arms? Any rubbing issues with the springs? Do they compress fully?

I want a ride in your car to compare with mine and have a look at your km/l figures to see if that is something I want to consider. So far I have just been lacking the money to go ahead and lift the car...

Maybe get the kit from the US yourself? Even if you get snatched by customs it'll still be a lot cheaper.

( here's a little secret: Rusty sels the rear H/D springs with shocks for only $180 / rustysoffroad.com, use search/ome shock )

I want a TUW on it - only applicable from Germany, so getting parts from the US is not an option. The TUW people are insane when it comes to securing a reliable TUW report. If you copy the paper on which the approval is printed, the copy is not valid...

I actually contacted www.boulderbars.com because I wanted to buy the Frankenlift.

I think the UPS quote they gave med was about US$ 1.100 for the shipping alone!!!!!

Then another US$ 1.000 for the kit and in Denmark UPS will always collect the customs so that could be extremely expensive.

Be glad you didn't buy it. For the CRD it's just a pre-assambled OME H/D set.
