Cherokee over here too, and then there are grand cherokee's. I think they should have called it Liberty over here though.

friend of mine getting the cherokee 2000 year model wirh 2.5 diesiel engine, has great space in back for his tools, there a difference between driving the cherokee and liberty as you know, but for him ,the older cherokee is lower to ground so easier for him to load heavier tools in rear

Just from a U.S. point of view, I think they should have kept it 'Cherokee' over here. And FYI the reason it's called Cherokee outside North America is that Subaru has a sedan called the Liberty and DCX didn't want to confuse people...

Did a little research, because I've never heard of a Subaru Liberty. Turns out that's the Aussie name for the Legacy.

Anyone noticed the driver is photoshopped to the other side?

This happened to me in June of last year, I met a Mitsubishi Pajero ( called Montero over here because Pajero means 'wanker' in Spanish  ) in a very tight curve...they had to tow the Mitsu since it only had 3 wheels left after the crash. I drove home.....

I am still insured for All Risk so no harm done. Maybe only by the bodyshop. They had no idea what a KJ was neither did they have any info on the parts. So they forgot some. Bringing it in on 25-02 to finally have it finished. That is to say: they are going to get their paint errors corrected and give me the missing parts I will then fit myself.

Does it still say 'liberty' on your ownership papers?

No "Utility", the window sticker says "Liberty" on it. Owners manual says Liberty
