I like those bars but the thing with bars is that they fit under the bumper and therefore reduce ground clearance at the front by the thickness of the bar.

Last weekend I hit the ground with my front bumper if I had a bar it would have ripped off taking the mountings (and grill) with it.

Also with most bars you can't have tow hooks at the front and that is a big no no if you go off road.

I thought about bars as there are many deer around here and collisions are common, but because the above mentioned restrictions I just fitted a 'deer whistle' in the bumper, upgraded the light bulbs and drive slower at dawns/nights/dusk.
