But you'll probably get 2x my salary at the end of the month....Spain is still a low salary country. A waiter in a restaurant gets about 800 euros a month. Thing is I can go and eat every day in a restaurant and have a 3 course meal for 7,50. Now beat that....Macdonalds is more expensive... :D

nope, did that last time and it's supposed to be ok for 30.000 km...as I remember correctly from the service manual.

Wow brian, you're on a roll, almost cannot keep up with you, yes ofcourse I'll pay, I just want to be able to control 'our' forum....call me a control freak...and since a few years a computer geek. I am a mechanic by profesion, just switched to something else a couple of years ago.

As our friends have enough to do on the regular forum I just hope they will except me as a moderator for this one. As I posted earlier I can do it about 7 months a year full time ( god I love my job...I realy do ) so....

Let's see what happens.

LOL - for me it's "nearly" the other way around. I don't have a computer education, but I have invested a few thousand hours into computers and hardware. I was actually so much of a geek I have used more time playing counter-strike than I have used on my master degree in engineering :D I'm an electrical engineer with a master in reliable control systems.

Now though I find myself buried in information about the jeep. I spent at least 3 hours a day on this forum, reading, posting and trying to know as much as I can about my little jeep. I want this vehicle to last me as much as I possibly can. I want to spend as little money on repairs as I can by doing preventive maintenance.

Actually in my current job I have so much freedom I can spend 1-2 hours a day at work browsing forums and still be able to get my stuff done in time. That's why I always make such conservative time schedules - to make room for surfing the web :D

Hey it is possible to do quality work while stille maintaining your hobbies. I sit at a computer all day, they don't know if I'm making documentation or if I am writing a little post on a forum ;)

Now Sir, playing counter-strike is not seriously learning IT.

But it sure is fun! :D

Oh but I was addicted to a very special hardware site on the web which made very thourough reviews and talked about technology more than performance.

The counter-strike part was just to reveal that I am truly a geek. I actually played on the Danish national team for a few years ...

You sure have a good try - to keep this "not KJ related - and almost succeeded so far :D
Lots of fun reading enthusiasts trying their best to keep conversation "not related" :-)r

Thanks guys!

I´d better be off for now - join you again tomorrow, as theatre rehearsals take my entire evening.

Feeling any better Timo?

In what play are you? Romeo and Julia? :D

Uffe: they told us on TV that Danish people are the happiest of all Europe, did they ask you?

Thanks Tony - I´m quite O.K. now!

The play isn´t exactly Romeo, nor Julia :P
It´s a british political satire called Feelgood, written by Alistair Beaton.

Yeah they always tell you that. We got the highest suicide rate in Europe by far. No they didn't ask me, if they had I wouldn't have thought about society as a whole but instead of how I think my life is going (which is going quite well, nice apartment, nice girlfriend, nice car ... hehe).

No time for video games, I don't own a single one. Too many other hobbies to keep me busy. Race car, stereos, new project 4x4, work etc.

In finnish - it´s been translated a few yrs ago for a professional theatre in Tampere.

So we´re the next company to do it in Finland -ahem :D

there´s a link in my profile ( this wasn´t a commercial  ) if anyone would be interested.....
O.K., you can take this last chapter off ( even though not commercial :P )
