OK, all my mates just confirmed they are interested / willing to join a group buy so SAMCO can send 4 of these and 1 '05+ kit to Spain.

Hope this helps.

Sorry guys, I don't want to P on your party, but why should I pay hundreds of Euro's on some rubber hoses when the originals are still working fine, I don't get it.
Ok, the old one's are a bit sweaty but therefore they don't dry out and crack and that is a good thing isn't it?

So the only reason is to have 2 coloured rubber hoses that you can only see when you open the bonnet, I think it would be better to spend that kind of money on some decent tyres or armour or use it towards a lift or what the heck, use it to fill up your KJ with diesel for the next couple of Months or even better, take your girlfriend/wife for a nice meal and splash out on a good bottle of wine.

For me it is like spending hundreds of Euro's to have a blue waste pipe for under your kitchen sink that you can only see when you open the cupboard door and if you show it to any body they will think you are a bit weird.

Sorry guys but I really don't get it.

That's a sound reason, I get it.

"Dutchy I take it you are not familar with Samco Sport products"

No, sorry, never heard of them, but as long as they are cheaper than the Mopar ones and as long as you need to replace these parts anyway, it makes sense to me.

This Samco Virus is catching on, got an email from a guy in Madrid who wants a set too.

So that´s 6 sets for Spain.

Dutchy, for me this is a no brainer, check the pics of my original hoses again. Everytime I service my KJ my arms get smudged up to my elbows with oil coming of these hoses. Turbo all smudged up...dripping over it on my oil filter...

And a set in RED will make me happy every time I open the hood...but that's me.

changing my hoses as they are due and had them checked to make sure, they have gone too soft and at high power or speed, they would suck in closer to each wall of hoses,a set of hoses from dealer would cost more and i DONT care what colour they are, blue if i had to chose as would be same as my kj ,as long as not bloody yellow or pink,

Wow, I did not know they get that bad, my hoses are mildly moist at times but never dripping wet.
I noticed a couple of years ago that the longer one chaves against the airbox so I covered that part with some old cooling hoose and tied it on with rippties, If I had not than that I would also have to replace them by now.

every part from stealership bloody expensive, jeep parts seem to cost more than others which is a shame, pity there not away to order parts from stealership in states rather than going through these co called stealerships in euro zone,im getting ripped off here in ireland ,so will think hard before i buy another jeep, could get parts for bmw cheaper

Your are 200% right, my friend drives a Landy 90 and he is shocked whenever I tell the price for Jeep parts and how difficult they are to get.
Every part he orders for his Landy is a quarter or less of the price I have to pay for my Jeep part.
For example tierod end for Landy 90 £15 the same one for a KJ £75 (at stealership) it is robbery.

A UK car magazine did a survey and found Jeep as a brand to be in second place as the most expensive cars to service just behind the extremely complicated and 3,5x more expensive RangeRover v8.

No wonder with the over inflated part prices (Jeep only changes $ for £ and make a 100% markup) and £85 an Hour for labour (at a very unskilled level).

I will drive my KJ a bit longer and service it myself as I happen to like it a lot, but one thing is sure I would not buy a new Jeep ever again and dealerships will only be visited in case I really can't find the parts anywhere else in the World.

I don't think there are many car manifactures that p off excisting customers the way Jeep does, must be a Jeep thing. :?
