I got me a new toy, 1966 karmann ghia in manilla yellow ,something to cruise about in during the summer,Love it 41 years old loads of character no road tax :D .Dont panic ive still got the kj,will post some pics.

There is a 1966 Gia for sale just down the street from me....what color???? yep, manilla yellow. My neighbor who just moved away last week had in his garage....you guessed it, a 1966 Gia....only it was brown. LOL

I used to have a 1966 type 34 karmann ghia it was a great car .It had the pancake engine the same one that was in the vw bus .Dual one barrel carbs Had a lot off fun in that car.I traded it for a 1971 plymouth satellite in 1976.

Yeah she's pretty solid keltick,just a couple of surface rust spots ,but i'm having a full respray and interior re trimmed in winter ,same colour though want to keep it original.

Yes, I like it too, had a 1974 beetle myself a couple of years back, just for fun.
