I had to remove and paint the tank straps again as they looked rusty again, when I was under there I had a good look around and I came to the conclussion that it could do with some sealant and although the dealer calls it 'discolouring of metal' I and everyone else with half a brain would call it bloody rust.

So I was thinking of having it cleaned and sprayed with waxoil undersealant, I have not had this done to any of my cars since 1986 (was never needed) and I'm wondering if it is any good and if it will keep my KJ rost free for a while, or is it just a waste of money.

Well it never hurts to apply some paint to your underbelly.

Stay away from the rubber like spray, water will crawl under that and make things even worse.
