Thanks for the info Lyonel ,hope your problem is not head gasket related.Have a garage use a sniffer in the expansion tank to try and pinpoint if it is the head gasket.

Happy New Year to you all... And an enjoying information for me : it was not a head gasket trouble, simply the "calorstat" (don't know the word in English, something like "heat sonde") that leaks at the crimping area. I had it changed and now everything is OK. :D
+ I also received my A-Arms and bumpstops from jbal last week... A second wave of Christmas gifts for me... :D :D

Update ,all hoses except for the 2 sets for Tony are on their way(Tonys should arrive with me on Tuesday Samco had a problem with the hoses sticking to the jigs so they had to have the jigs chrome plated). It has been a nightmare ,i opened up all the boxes to check everything was ok and to add hose clips and stickers/keyrings ,then resealed and placed them in plastic postal sacks and taped them down, when i got to the post office i was told they were 300grams overweight and it would cost nearly double to send them despite only being 300g overweight. So i humped them all back into the car and phoned around couriers to see what they could do ,the prices i recieved back were scary,so i had to remove the hoses from the boxes wrap the hoses in bubble wrap to stop them rubbing and wrap them in plastic bags (they are an awful shape to wrap) so instead of being in a box they are now in a hose shaped package not pretty but they are on the way.I have placed the keyrings in a freezer bag cellotaped to the hoses and your sticker is cellotaped to the cardboard containing the hose clamps. All this hassle for 300grams in weight.Once again i apologise for the delay ,it was unforseen that they would end up being slightly overweight after adding the hose clamps and keyrings, all this after i weighed some their a while ago and they were under weight ,but woman behind counter said they had had new scales since then,so they were probably knackered.Regards Jimmy

Thanks for all your hard work Jimmy, one of the kits already arrived in Australia.

For those of you who have a 2.5 CRD and didn't read everything we said about the hoses, I took this of ausjeepoffroad.com

clicktracy wrote:
Mine arrived the day before yesterday. Fitted them yesterday but I had to sleeve the turbo end of the first hose as it was too big (50mm) for the turbo outlet (42mm) I used a short piece of radiator hose to make up the difference.. Any way at last I've got rid of those leaky OE hoses.
Cheers and thanks.

We had to compromise for the '02-'04's since we have 2.5 and 2.8 engines. The last one has a slightly bigger turbo so we kept the hoses at 50mm. So they would fit on both. I didn't think of it as a big problem. When I measured my turbo hose it was 45 mm turbo side/ 50mm intercooler side. So the gap between the hose and the turbo would only be 2.5 mm on every side... well you get the idea: (O)

You can either thighten the hose clamp or do as Clicktracy and add a little sleeve. (piece of the old hose)

I'm very glad they are finally arriving, hope you all like them.
