I went to OEC (www.oec4x4.com) in Newton Abbot in Devon a couple of weeks ago to have my TJM type 17 bumper fitted - OEC are the importers of TJM kit in the UK, and also export to Europe. For those interested, I'd ordered an alloy model, and then asked them to have it powdercoated black. Supply, powdercoating, and fitting came to just over £1K plus VAT. In fairness, they'd never fitted one to a KJ before - in fact they'd never even been asked for one for a KJ before, so it was a special import - but I was in no rush so I was happy to wait a couple of months.
Anyway, while there, I noticed that they also supplied extended breather kits - mostly for Land Rovers and Toyotas, so I asked if I could buy several metres of tubing to extend my breathers. They very kindly agreed to supply and fit a set of extended breathers and would only charge me for the basic cost of the kit, and would use my car as the template.
As you may know - there are 6 breathers in total. They couldn't extend the main tank breather - that is a very large calibre tube, and goes up to just short of the level of the fuel filler anyway. The others they extended to the back of my engine bay, where they join into a block, and that will be extended further when I can afford to get my snorkel fitted
