Anyone see anyway of removing any of the buttons down where the 15v power button and ESP buttons are? I'm thinking I want to put a light to light up the center console with a healthy glow while driving at night to see directions, etc I may have printed, etc. I'm looking to do something like this http://www.cardomain.com/ride/566877 |

Post subject: | Re: HOW TO: DASH BEZEL DISASSEMBLE |
Just bought a 2010 Limited on Saturday. I want to hook my iPod up so I can control it with the steering wheel controls. There is unbelieveably little info about this subject. All I know is that I need the iPod cable that connects to the uconnect module. Everything I have read says that it won't work on the Liberty. I have the RES/RSC radio with factory installed uconnect. I am posting this on the bezel removal thread because I was hoping someone that has followed these steps and has factory uconnect can tell me where the module is mounted before I tear my dash apart. I want to see, with my own two eyes, that the module does not have the iPod connection. Thanks in advance!! |

Thank you for this. Now I can finally fix what that rook over at the audio place messed up. Put my dang dash kit in backwards so it sticks out on the top and goes in on the bottom. Needless to say it does NOT look that nice. Now off to go fix the situation. |
