OK, this is an easy how to ... It should only take 15/20 min to do this from start to finish. REMOVAL STEP 1 - Lift and Support the rear of the truck. STEP 2 - Start at the bottom and remove the bolt & nut holding the shock to the lower shock mount. You will need a 15mm wrench (bolt) and a 18mm socket (nut) ![]() ![]() STEP 3 - Remove the 15mm bolt that holds the shock to the upper mount. ![]() INSTALL STEP 4 - Start at the top and put the new shock into place. Bolt it in using the 15mm that you removed. STEP 5 - Place the bottom of the shock into the mount and bolt it back in using the 15mm bolt and 18mm nut that you removed. I believe the torque specs are 90 ft lbs. DONE! |

Pics are "dead". When you lift the rear of the truck, are you lifting the body or axle? And where are you placing the supports, body or axle? |

Use jackstand's in front of the lower control arms, after you jack it up of course , remove wheels , unbolt old shocks and bolt new ones in. Takes 15-20 minutes max, heck to replace springs and shocks takes 20 max |
