What is an Aussie locker for?

Is it worth me getting the skid plates if i intend to be a casual off roader

And if i intend to be a casual off roader, should i get a small lift to go with some more aggressive tires?

I want to replace the tires regardless but still havnt decided what ones yet since i havnt found a lift i have settle with!

Digger, what lift/tire set up did you use?! i absolutely love the look of you KK.
