Hey guys,

So i have had my jeep for about 3,000 miles fresh and no issues. I installed the Lock Pick and 500 miles later on the same trip my check engine light went on and i have all sorts of issues with the transmission not shifting out of second gear, after bring it in the second time they have had my car for three days checking to see what it is. I guess they even replaced the computer and its still doing it.

Has anyone heard of any other cases like this? I wouldn't think the lock pick has anything todo with it.....does it?

Thanks in advance

Sorry to hear you are having problems w your KK  I hate having any vehicle in the shop for more than one day. I always think they are just letting it sit there and not working on it.
1.) Did you try uninstalling that lock pick?
2.) There is a feature for your transmission called "limp home mode" where it wont shift above second gear. According to the 2010 OM, this mode engages when a condition is detected that could result in transmission damage.

they had to replace a peice on the transmission for the second time, or i guess they are doing that hopefully today, replaced the computer last week too still the same thing. When i get it back and it happens again i will for sure uninstall the lock pick but im not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. hope not.

You could try searching and/or posting here. I've known of others who have installed Lockpick without issues. In fact, I'm thinking it may be on 2011 upgrade list.
