So i was wondering, does everyone else suffer from the dumb distance of the key remote? i have my auto start on it and i can't start or unlock my jeep more than 30 feet away. I called the dealership thinking something was wrong and they told me that it was the way the remote is made that they all have short distances. |

My keys suck. They never work unless youre right next to it. |

I get more than 30 ft easily. . . Just make sure you have a fresh batt in the remote and as dum as this is gonna sound hold it up to your lower jaw bone for some reason it makes a huge diff in the range as weird.as that sounds lol. . . I had a audio guy install a remote starter in mine with a 1000ft range remote. once started I can use my factory keyremote to unlock the jeep when I'm ready to jump in while its still running in remote mode |
