So I ordered some tow hooks and they don't fit..

1)the holes for mounting the hook are not far enough apart..what is the spacing between the mounting holes on the kk tow hooks?

When I went to compare the hooks to the mounting point on the frame I noticed that the holes in the frame don't meet up with the area of the bumper they're supposed to come out of..

2) what needs to be done to the stock bumper to allow tow hooks to come out properly?

ignore the text .. the circled part is where a little clip slides into the frame.

I doubt I have the "correct hooks" because I bought them off amazon and they were maybe $20..ya get what ya pay for. I found some on eBay for the kk I'm going to Pock up and then give it a shot.

If I under stand right through they don't truly attach to the frame? So when a load is put on they the only point of contact would be the front bolt between the bracket and the hook being pulled against the frame?

I don't know as much as I Probably should but I appreciate the comets from Experienced gents on here.

Disregard every thing I said haha

I took another loom at the correct hooks and saw how it works. Thanks for the fast write up!
