I have an '08 KK with a skyslider roof that has a terrible wind noise once I hit about 70mph. There is a TSB on this, which I already had performed in 2010. It basically called for a new roof bow to be installed and an adjustment made to the torque settings of the skyslider. About 1-1/2 years later, the noise is back. I took it in and the dealer said sorry - not covered. (gotta love 'em!). So rathe than spending the $1200+ they told me the new parts would run me, i'm wondering if anyone here has had any luck in fixing the common issue. (other than cranking the radio.... Work well when no one is in the car, but doesn't fix the issue)

Thanks for any help anyone has to offer!

There is a way someone on here has added some weatherstripping to it. It still blows my mind Mopar doesn't make some sort of deflector yet. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is probably the most posted about issue of KKs who have sky sliders. Weatherstripping is basically the only solution.

It's really not that bad. What do ya expect from a soft top brick shaped vehicle? I've gotten way too used to it. I know some actually have problems, but it's never going to be as quiet as a KK without one.

The weather stripping worked great for me in solving the noise problem above 60mph. A real easy fix, thankyou!

Resurrecting this one - what is the procedure for the fix? What kind of weatherstripping and where is it applied? Thank you!

Check out this thread: viewtopic.php?f=88&t=56847&start=40

I found this worked pretty well. I applied mine in November '14 and haven't had to replace it since. Probably will have to eventually as I'm sure the weather strippings elasticity doesn't last...

I have the same issue and I am on my second roof. Now I place 1/4 weather stripping across the front lip...no more wind.
