Had front hubs replaced at 44K. Might be something else since yours is brand new. |

After a few min driving it sounds like it may be the transfercase. |

Yes I plan on it ASAP, i have an appt for my remote start and they have to replace my reciever as some has bent up the harness connector. i bought it as a demo but they sold it as a brand new car since it was never titled. it appears these dodge dealers around me do not give loaner cars out, and thats an issue for me as i need a car to get to work! I am certain the howling/whine/grown is coming from the transfer case or rear diff.........i searched the boards and noone had these issues before it seems |

Any sound issues are incredibly hard to describe, and not always easy to diagnose. Hopefully it's an issue the dealer has had before and will be able to pinpoint it quickly. Keep us informed so it can maybe help someone else out in the future. |

Well dealer said it checked out ok and it was within spec. How they came up with that without removing diff cover is beyond me. Atleast now its on paper and in there system I have been complaining about it. I wanna put my lift on now so I hope they won't give me crap about the diff in the future if something should happen. He said he noticed a little howl but liberty's are naturally noisy from driving since there bricks goin in the wind. He compared it to a brand new Libby by driving it and said that one had a howel too. Should I trust them? |

Just hoping you might being hearing something else. I've never heard anyother humm or whine and mines not even at 10k yet. |
