I'm installing a trans temp gauge and was curious, does anyone know if and where the trans test port is?

I think that a temp gauge is one of the best things you can do if you use your Jeep. Where did you end up putting it? Do you have any pictures to share? I was thinking of putting one in the pan when I change the trany fluid. Has it come in handy for you? What kind of temps have you been seeing?

So sorry for the late reply. I ended up sending it back and got the Edge Insight CTS. It does not read the trans temp for a liberty, but still good to have.

I've heard of an idea of drilling a 5/8" hole in the transmission pan to fit a temperature sensor into.
I plan to do it and mount the gauge in a column gauge pod.

Go for it. I almost screwed my trans up once so I'm good on touching it ever again. I changed the fluid and put the amount recommended and had issues. Took it to Midas and I was 4qts low. Wtf.
