Ok I'll throw this out there, I have those same shocks and get the same clunking sounds. I always figured it was the sway links but I guess I'll have to reexamine it. My 1st thought is it was the boot but the only way to rectify that is to cut them off.

I get this noise too. I have no sway bar and my Bilsteins have no boots. I have the bolts tight enough to have squeeze the mounting eyelets together. Still goes clunk.

NAM, did you ever put the spacers in the shocks? My rear is quieter than my front.

The problem is definitely the shocks, now it comes down to what part of the shocks. I've never had Ironman shocks so I'm not too familiar with them...

I've got a couple washers on the side of the upper shock mount.

There was also a sleeve kit that JBA sells(you can make it yourself) to help bolts fit better as well.

PA, my rig is super quiet, aside from a squeak at the front driver's tire. It's the top bolt on the shock too, it backed off again, but I'm too lazy to drop the spring assembly to fix it. That's especially so since the next time I drop it the JBA coil overs are going in.

I have The OME shocks, and I have a clunck noise too... but only when it's warm out. I've been meaning to get it figured out, but it's been cold, and I forgot about the noise.

Is there anyone on here with iron man shocks that don't clunk, just throwing it out there because if not maybe it is the plastic sleeve

No idea haha. My driver side parking brake is broken and that rattles a little inside the rotor...

Since many of these problem threads seem to go unresolved I'm happy to say my problem is fixed! After trying everything I could think of there was nothing left other than something wrong with the shocks themselves internally so 2 days ago I replaced them with bilstein shocks and shimmed the mounts with washers as everyone says to do. The clunk is gone and now I'm just enjoying the silence, I may have just got a bad batch with the Ironman shocks because the ride is significantly smoother now too which can't just be in my head as multiple passengers commented on that so far

Thanks for posting up the resolution to the clunking noise. I'm sure that will help someone else, and it's just nice to see that some problems have a resolution.

Just wanted to chime in on this one. I replaced my Ironman shocks with Bilstein 5125's and after three long years the rear end clunk is gone
