It finally happened I broken my window switch. It's been on the verge of breaking forever now. Does anyone have one they wanna sell me? Also does anyone know how to remove and replace this? I may could just purchase a button, anyone else have this problem?ImageImageImage

Have to buy everything as one unit...MOPAR doesn't sell single switches...

:ROTFL:
Yes, I just swapped mine out with a switch bank from a junkyard. I still have the old switch bank if you want to try to do a button transplant. My driver's window switch didn't work electronically (the window didn't go when you pressed the button), but physically the button was fine.

You can just pull up on the switches and the unit should disengage from the door. Then you can undo the wire harnesses underneath. No need to disassemble the door.

Well the switch controls actually worked good for a while until I let a little rain in with the jeep door open while working on my jeep. I tried to make a Frankenstein one from the two but it broke quickly. Any ideas?

Too bad it wasn't possible to combine parts from the two modules. At this point, I'd say a junkyard is the place to get one (I paid $45). I've looked on several parts sites for you, Including Rock Auto, Napa, and Advance Auto Parts, and nobody seems to have the drivers door switch (although the passenger's and rear door switches are available). So, maybe you could fine a low mileage Liberty, Nitro, or other compatible Chrysler product from 2008 and grab a door switch module. The junkyard I dealt with had several in stock, and they let me try a few to make sure I got one that worked.

Lauren, did you try dealers for the part? My switch is getting really bad lately and I need to start looking for one. A few of them around here are going for $60+. Honestly if new is just a bit more, I'd rather go that route...

$60 sounds reasonable for the part. When I was looking, I seem to remember it was $150+ for the drivers side switch module, so I thought my $45 junkyard price was a good deal. But if you can get new Mopar for $60, that sounds like the way to go!

I'll have to look. The junkyards are asking about $60. I'll have to call the dealer or see if I can find it new somewhere else.

I grabbed my drivers side replacement off eBay. I think it was around 50$ shipped.

seems to be a common issue with the nitro and liberty switches... just cough up the 60 bucks or buy new for 80... :google:
