Bored i sat in my jeep, looking at JeepNCrowd's idea of the small cubby on the dash i thought whats behind the map light, seen CB's mounted there so lets see.
I ran simple covered toggles and decided to add indicator lights. ImageImageImage

The mount for the light was trimmed with a speed bit dermal. Image

Then each switch gets its own light.

I took down the visor, ran four wires
One to a key on power the others out to under the hood. Image

In my hast i didn't mark my wires, once the key power was hooked up i figured each wire and tied in the indicator lights. Image

Once all the wires and switches were wired up i put in a circuit breaker and ran three relays. Its crude but works. Image

Finished product

Enjoy this option and be creative with dead space!

Creative! I sadly use that spot for holding papers every now and then (and I already started placing switches in other spots). Looks just like a sky slider's overhead, except we have the switch.

Nice build! I've actually got a 2008 kk that doesn't have as many fun options on its map lights nor space to place extras.

I'll be looking to utilize that space on the dash
