| Post subject: | Hill Start Assist gets stuck |
Anyone ever have this happen? This has happened to me twice in the past 2 years. The first time I was trying to show off to a buddy of mine that has a Trailblazer SS. I was uphill and tried to do a brake stand. It was weak. When I went to go, the brakes were locked up and i had to basically redline it to get to a spot where I could pull over. I just the car off, waited about 5 minutes until the brakes released, and drove away. The 2nd time, this past weekend. I was at a redlight going uphill. I released the brake and the car coasted back a bit, which I wasnt expecting. I hit the brake quick. Sat at the light for about another minute or two. Went to go and brakes were locked. Samething, had to redline it just to get out of the way of traffic. The wife thought the gears were stuck. Pulled over, shut it off, waited, drove away. |
