Anyone have to replace these sensors? From videos I've seen of KJs, they seem pretty easy. I've been having random misfire issues and throwing codes P0300 and P0339. Figured I'd replace both this weekend just to be safe.

I've done both, cam sensor is pretty easy but the crank sensor was a PITA. Mine was corroded in the block and had to break out a vise grip attached to a slide hammer to remove it. Installing it also wasn't fun as it would never seat right with the corrosion. A little bit of emery cloth & a fresh oil change and I can still only to get it to seat on a warm block & throwing the sensor in the freezer for a bit. Just the other day I was under there & noticed it was weeping oil from around the sensor. I said screw it, got the engine warm & it came out easy. Slapped some RTV around the o-ring on the crank sensor and called it good enough.

Just shy of 100k but they use a ton of road salt here in the winter.

To get to the camshaft sensor do you go from underneath or under the hood?

I went from underneath so I can see what I'm doing but I've been told it is possible to do it by reaching around the head from the engine bay.
