Here is a how to on replacing the window regulator/motor assembly. This is the driver's door but it should be applicable to all doors.

Tools:
10mm socket and long extension and rachet
T-20 screwdriver/key
T-25 screwdriver/key
T-30 screwdriver/key
Pick or small flat head screwdriver

We'll start by removing the interior door panel

1) Remove the access panel around the interior door panel using a pick or small flat head screwdriver

2) Remove the 10mm bolt

3) Using a pick or small flat head screwdriver, pop the cover off the screw cover in the door panel.
Image

4) Once open there is a T-20 screw behind it that needs to be removed
Image

5) Now all the fasteners are removed, lift the door panel up and away from the door.

6) Unplug the electrical connectors for the window/door lock switch
Image

7) Remove the 3 T-20 screws that hold on the speaker and unplug the factory connector. Now would be a good time to disconnect the wire stay from inside the speaker opening in the regulator panel.

8 ) I removed the interior weather stripping at the bottom of the window opening. I'm not sure if it is completely necessary but I wanted a better view inside and it just slips on top of the door skin lip.

9) Now the fun part, glass removal.... remove the black sticker on the regulator panel to access the clip on the regulator that holds the window in place.
Image

10) To release the window from the regulator the window must be able to move freely up and down. Mine bound up when the window motor pulley sheered off. If it won't move freely, remove the 3 torx screws that hold the motor to the regulator panel. Once its free guide the window in the track until you can see the clip that holds the window to the regulator. This may be easier to lift the window up from the speaker pocket if the window is all the way down. The clip looks like this:

11) Once the clip is lined up with the access hole, use a pointy instrument of your choosing to press the tab in the hole in the bottom of the window toward the exterior of the door to release the glass. This can take a fair mount of force and is very nerve racking (This is a 2 handed operation so sorry no pictures)

12) Once the window glass is free from the regulator raise the window by had to about 1/3 of the way up and tilt the forward most part of the window down into the door skin while rotating the rearward part of the window up. Once the window is at a 90 degree angle the window can be lifted out of the window opening. If your window is tinted be careful not to scratch the tint on the inside of the window (This is a 2 handed operation so sorry no pictures)

13) Now remove the oval cover of the door skin.
Image

14) Remove the 10 mm nut with the socket and long extention.
Image

15) Remove the black T-25 screw on the door jam of the door.
Image

16) Remove the 3 T-30 screws for the door latch
Image

17) Unhook all the wires from their stay on the regulator panel. Be sure to disconnect the mirror electrical connector and pop the wire zip tie stay thingy from the door panel.

18) Now push the large wire grommet toward the door hings to free it from the regulator panel. (Circled in yellow)
Image

19) Now remove the 10- 10mm bolts from the regulator panel. The is a pop type fastener on the back of the panel by where the interior door panel bolt by the interior door handle that is a big PITA.
Image

20) With the door fully opened and slack within the wiring, slide the regulator panel and latch assembly toward the front of the Jeep. Once there is enough room, disconnect the electrical connector for the door latch.
Image

21)Feed the grommet for the power door latch back toward the front of Jeep and pull the wires back through.
Image

22) Continue to move the regulator panel towards the front of the Jeep untill the window regulator track and latch assembly clear the interior door skin. (This is a 2 handed operation so sorry no pictures)

23) Disconnect the rods that connect the door lock "numb" and interior handle to the door lock.
Image

24) Lifting on the tab(circled) that secures the lock assembly to the regulator, slide the lock assembly off the regulator
Image

25) Disconnect and remove the rod from the interior door handle
Image

26) On the underside if the interior door handle there is a pin that presses up to remove the interior handle from the regulator. Be careful as the door handle spring is not captured and falls off easily. Transfer the rods, rod grommets and interior handle over to the new regulator.

Instillation is the opposite of removal. As most will be able to tell all of these pictures were taken during reassembly.
