As Mr. Murphy would have it with winter, my Liberty has developed an issue where the front windshield washers are not functioning. The rear works great and having replaced the pump and the multi-function switch for the wipers, I still don't have anything to spray the windshield. I can hear the pump when I hit the rear, but nothing when it comes to the windshield. Anyone have or had this issue? |

The plastic hoses and hose connections under the hood may be the problem. They get brittle and crack, and so your washer fluid may be coming out inside the engine bay, or underneath the hood insulation. The tubing and fittings are not too hard to replace yourself, though, if they're broken. |

The pump doesn't run when I activate the front washers. The rear works great when activated. |

Sorry, looks like I misunderstood your original question. You could test the connections at the pump with a multimeter, and see if they are being energized when you throw the washer switch. That will start to narrow down where the problem is. |
