I know, I know. This question again. I searched and couldn't find any info on the specific question. Hopefully it hasn't been answered. I Have a 2011 liberty sport.I'm on a budget(obviously most of us are) lol. But, I bought some jba top plates and the largest clevis spacers they sell. (.500 I believe they are.) for the front and 2 extra rear spring isolators for the rear. I am hoping this will give me a level/ slightly lifted stance. Hoping that the front doesn't sit higher than the back afterwards, but if it does, I'll buy some smaller clevis spacers from jba. I want to get the full budget lift from them eventually, and then use the top plate and rear isolator to bring it up to around 4" total lift. Probably get the a arms too. But, here's my problem. I need new tires. Like really bad. I still have the 225 75 16 goodyears on it. I really want some 245 75 16 duratracs and I know they will fit after the real lift is done. Will they fit with the almost 2 inches(1.75) front and the maybe inch or so in the rear, or should I just settle on some 245 70 16s instead. I'm sure there will be some rubbing with the 75's but is it still driveable, or will they rub constantly? Sorry that this is so long winded, and thanks in advance.

You might be ok for mall crawling before you get the rest of the lift, but it depends on how much your stock springs have sagged. Measure from the center of the rim to the bottom of the flare. 18" is about stock on a KK for the front. If you measure only 17" there, the clevis lift will get you back to where it was stock, but that might not be enough to prevent rubbing with the 245/75/16. If 17.5 or 18, you will net some actual lift and it may be ok for most normal on road driving until you can get the rest of the lift. Just avoid sharp turns or off camber situations like you would get off road in the meantime.

Tom, what do you think? (Tommudd has more experience with lifting Liberties than just about anyone, so if he contradicts me, go with what he says.)

I just measured it. It's slightly less than 18" on the driver side and slighter over 18" on the passenger side. Thank you for that info. I really don't want to half booty this, but I also don't want to buy tires twice either. I know I could always go with some 245 70 general grabber at2's or something and call it good enough, but I'd really like those 245 75 duratracs instead. I don't think they make a duratrac in that size, and I don't want my tires to look small after the full lift. How do 245 70's look on lifted kk's?
