i have a question about using my 4x4. Every time i use the 4x4 theres a grinding type noise from the front i believe. It is from time to times sometimes. WHAT does that mean. ANYONE ? |

hello there thanks for the info i will check that...yea I've notice it sometimes it happens wen I'm using the 4x4 i sounds like if gears are engaging or something also wen I'm turning. i also notice it one time it was raining and the traction control kicked in sounded like a grind. |

ANYONE ? A similar problem. Sometimes I get a pop it would grind a little bit or else I get kind of a high pitch squeal rolling down the road. Kind of a metallic ringing squeal. It turned out to be the front drive shaft. I got the vehicle up off the ground and when I grab the drive shaft and rocked it back and forth I got kind of a flying out of it. Chances are the rear joint dried out and there's no grease left in it. It was about a hundred bucks an end to repair and not much more than that to buy one complete.
