 Post subject: 2012 liberty HVAC heating , cooling directional issue.

Hello. I have a 2012 liberty. So..... Question? Air is fine kind of.. except when I but the air on the floor it comes out of the defrosters and hardly any on the floor. I'm not sure if it's the flapper, the actuator or the upper actuator. Heat and a/c works fine.

The problem is your mode door. This could be caused by various issues:
- Actuator motor not working (easy fix to swap out)
- Actuator motor not calibrated so turning the knob puts it on the wrong setting ($100 computer fix at the dealer)
- Gears on flap broken, which is inside the air distribution box ($$$$!!!! Or lots of time and pain.)
