Has anyone had this issue? I'm leaning towards the tipm:(

Yeah, that was my first thought too. That combination of symptoms (especially because of the locks) all points in that direction. :|

Where is the blower resister?

It's behind the glove box. Here is a helpful thread with pics of both the blower motor and the blower motor resistor.

Today I thought I would reset everything thing so disconnected neg battery terminal, connected again after 15 min-and then NOTHING worked except dome lights, dash lights didn’t come on and couldn’t even get it out of park :(.
I ordered a rebuilt tipm from the dealer :roll:

It WAS the tipm -$1200 for new , but I opted for the reconditioned offered by dealer @$588 list. Put it in myself, did the quick learn and everything back to normal:)

Good news! Glad you have your Jeep back and that you saved a chunk of change by doing it yourself. :D
