For those who are looking to change the thermostat on their KK diesel 2.8 here is some good news, the Holden Rodeo uses the same housing and is $90 from Bursons in Australia except the kk outlet is straight, this can be easily changed by cutting a small slot where the circlip sits and push it out with a screwdriver, the outlet pipe will come out and can be changed over to the new housing after swapping out the thermostat taking care of the new O ring, its a bit is a challenge to push the thermostat down and twist it out, I changed the temp sender as well, the part number for the new housing is Dayco DT204A, I don't know how to post pics of this, sorry |
