I have a -09 CRD aut Limited and I can feel a rumble on 4th and 5th gear when driving so that the revs are somewhat between 1500-2000rpm.
Now, I haven't been able to locate the whereabouts of the sound, but I'm reckoning it's coming from the transmission, since I haven't been able to duplicate the rumble with lower gears.
The car has 240'000 km's on the clock and it has been properly maintained so far.

Any1 had the same kind of problems? What was the cause? :?:

I live in Finland and there's only 5 KK's here as far as I know, so can't ask around from local workshops. :ALONE:

I don’t have a CRD but I do have an 08 KK. This rumble seems to happen to me when the torque converter tries to engage at too slow a speed for the gear you’re in, causing the rumble or lugging sound. There was a technical service bulletin for this several years ago, but I’ve never had mine re-flashed. I just release the accelerator pedal for a second and when I push down again the Jeep has shifted into a lower gear and the rumble goes away. It doesn’t happen often enough in my Jeep to bother me.

Here is the list of KK TSB’s.

If you can show them the right TSB, maybe your mechanic/dealer can reflash your TCM with the updated software.
