BTW... your trip looked like a blast, wish I could have made it! You should see what velocity basin looks like just now (the bowl just out of silverton above the active mine) I was snowboarding there this last weekend on about 4-5 feet of snow!


Was that Silverton, Ouray or somewhere in between? :P

Thanks, we had fun, we always do. One of these times we'll have to start checking out other areas of Colorado.

I would like to see that bowl in five feet of snow too. Did you take pics ? How close were you able to drive to the bowl ?

You have to park at the mine and ski in from there... I'll see if I can track down some pics.
