OK, since we have time for people to plan time to come out for this event, I thought I would go ahead and start this thread for some inspiration. I have been working on getting some raffle prizes together, since that area has been a little lacking the last few years. I will update this list as they become available, but I have a pretty big list of contacts to go through, so check back about once a month for new prizes.

Here is a list of all of the sponsors I have contacted so far and what they are providing:

LIST OF DEFINATE SPONSORS

Rock Lizard Fab - I don't know what I'm doing yet, but it will be big. www.rocklizardfabrications.com

JJ's Amsoil - Amsoil goodies. www.hotrodoil.com

JeepinbyAl - Marlin says most likely some Upper A arms, maybe more. www.jeepinbyal.com

Run Cool Hood Vents - Bob is sending (1) set of High Flow vents just like Troy (tjkj2002) has. I already have these in my possession. www.raceace.com

DetoursUSA - Mark doesn't know yet, but likely a certificate or Backbone Winch setup. www.detoursusa.com

FormattFab - Matt is in for atleast one, if not two, 10# CO2 tank setups. www.formattfab.com

RiddlerMfg - Tim is pretty gungho on helping us out, he said atleast one or two diff covers, if not more. www.riddlermfg.com

CraneMfg - Joshua is providing atleast one certificate for a diff cover.
http://www.crawlertech4x4.com

LIST OF VERY LIKELY SPONSORS

Maxxis Tire - James said they are tapped out for sponsorships this year, but since the event is in summer '09, he wants me to get back to him February '09. He was pretty cool and said my proposal letter was the best he had ever received, so I think he was hinting a real good possibility of getting what I asked for. Oh, I asked him for a set of (5) 245/75R16 MT762 BigHorn Tires (like on JJ's SFA KJ, only smaller). www.maxxis.com

I am totally impressed with the sponsor list thus far... is there any way that you could put up a list of the companies you have sent this too so far? Maybe there are people here that could suggest others to send your magic cover letter to..

OK, made some calls:

Rock Lizard Fab - A mess of certificates ranging in value.

JeepinbyAl - Marlin says he will have a $50 gift certificate this year.

Run Cool Hood Vents - Bob sent me a set of hood vents like Troy has on the Gila Monster. He sent those within a week after I called him at the beginning of this whole thing, so they have been sitting here awhile. www.raceace.com

RiddlerMfg - Tim is sending an 8.25 diff cover. www.riddlermfg.com

CraneMfg - Joshua is providing one certificate for a diff cover.
http://www.crawlertech4x4.com

DetoursUSA - Can't get ahold of Mark, but I will try again after the holiday. www.detoursusa.com

I saw one of them hanging in the office of the OK RV park in MOAB last weekend. Pretty sweet.
