I want to insure that everyone has fun in MOAB..... Despite the punishing heat...... For some reason, I feel responsible. Please indicate you departure date too and any special needs you may have. I don't recommend camping in July. |

I am going to head home on Tues the 21st. So I was hoping to hit the trails on sunday and monday. Saturday I would like do some trails if somebody else is there if not I'll just do the tourist thing and go to canyonlands or arches national parks. |

In MOAB it can get REAL economical..... and gross. What's everyones budget per night? I've stayed there in the $60 - $70 range and it was very borderline. I won't mind trying to negotiate a deal if I can get an idea of the total rooms we'll need. For the record...... none of you deserve this....... |

The rates are actually pretty high considering the time of year... I am surprised. It seems that the best deals that can be had right now is: Super 8 - $86 River Canyon Lodge - $80 The later hotel does not have breakfast but I believe the Super 8 does. I stayed at the River Canyon during EJS and the rate was $64 so that's pretty interesting. |

It shouldn't be a problem getting a room in July. The rates are based upon double occupancy I should add. |

If my lift is on and I'm around I would be up for Saturday and Sunday. I am only about an hour or so away. The boss wants us to move back to the northwest but if I'm here I may have room for visitors. |

You will not need a lift as much as you will need skids. If you lift it and still have no skids I don't recommend going out there. Durangotang ran all the trails we will before he lifted but his skids got a workout. I am lifted and all of my skids are dinged and bent. |
