So a bigger group headed out today to connect Corkscrew Pass, Hurricane Pass, California Pass, and the Animas Forks ghost town. Storms threatened the entire day and the weather was officially crazy.

We were, however, not led astray by Puff the mountain dog...

After the lightning, Lake Como...

The group had to bail of Poughkeepsie Gulch for the day due to weather... but we'll be back in a couple of days... with more dogs

After the crazy storms, Puff led us to Animas Forks for lunch.

Red, Yahzi, and Phoebe (the other mountain dog) enjoy some lunch of a ghost town porch.

Stay tuned for Day 3!!

Hey, now this all looks familiar! Hurricane and California pass are so amazing. We love to visit Animas Forks every summer... but then if we could have a second house it would be in Silverton.

Great pics! I hope to join you folks in the future.
