Any one seen any around? Friend had the valve train goin his 2005 Liberty- figured it would cheaper to find used motor for a 2005. He's spent 800 already, 120,000 KM. I figured I could find him a motor- have it put in cheaper then Summit is trying to charge him. Estimate of $3000.00 |

There are plenty around Atlantic Canada. Google salvage yards Canada and you will find the list. Actually, most are in the yellow pages, no need to Google at all . |

So to conclude, found motor at Capital City Auto in Fredericton for $100 more then Bastrache & with 50,000 fewer KM's $1300 + HST Install was 12 hours at $60.00/ hour + 2 hours to remove intake, pullies, (anything cut off and not useable) etc from new motor (used the seated ones off broken motor). Fluids were $175.45 (wonder what they had to replace? Needed rad fluide, oil, filter? What else?) So all in all: $2622.92 Work completed at National 4 Wheel Drive in Fredericton! Thanks Ted! |
