You do get sick of it after a while.

The Dart is the absolute worst. It just won't go away. It's the reason why I have been driving the Jeep so much lately.

Well just for you and you only Marlon,....
bring the Dart down and I'll drive it until the new car smell leaves

I could get rid of that new car smell in a couple of minutes...just give me a days notice so I can load up on some burritos.

I'm going to tackle replacing all the brakes this weekend ...wish me luck (for good weather and no foul ups or injuries).

You can do it,
just make sure you get everything, replace not only the pads but the hardware as well. That way should be no squeals, rattles, squeaks, or chitty chitty bang bangs

Going to be different replacing... well... anything on the Jeep inside of a garage. No longer do I have to suffer under the sun and worry about rain.

Now that's some beautiful eye candy - that happens to work really well.

Tom, do report when you get 'em installed!

I had the same thought - gimme a Saturday morning after a night at my favorite Mexican restaurant and, well... :dizzy:

The brakes are pretty straightforward. Like Tom said, get all the hardware too. And if you're doing the rear parking brakes check out the How-To over on KJ Country. It's pretty comprehensive.

GOOD Friday Morning everyone.
Heading out to make a delivery this morning
( always nice when you sell something and they say we'll pay you 25 dollars more if you can deliver it and its only 35 miles away!) :pepper:
So everyone have a nice long weekend even though its kind of chilly in the Buckeye!

I was wondering if anyone would be up for a M&G at Southington Offroad sometime this summer. The place is pretty cool and has something for just about everyone. Maybe camp and have a night ride :D
I'll be happy to look into it if there's enough interest. We may even be able to do it during one of their events.

Rear brakes complete ...might have been done sooner if they'd given me all the right part numbers in the first place and if stock lug nuts were worth a darn.

On to the fronts.

Kicking back with the grandkids watching youtube videos of Disney and dreaming about our trip in September. Should be a blast with a 4 & 6 year old.

Lug nut won't budge...hit it with penetrating oil. Check

Later on...lugnut still doesn't budge...stupid cap strips...chisle it off to reveal real lug nut. Check

More penetrating oil. Check.

Later...lug nut deforms and strips. Check.

Go get extractor socket. Check.

Realize you don't have anything good to turn the extractor socket...go buy 1that 1/16th socket to fit over extractor. Check.

One last try on lug nut...wont effing budge.
:banghead:

Guess I'll take it to the pros tomorrow if I can find one open and available.

They only allow 4 wheels on the first full weekend of the month, the next one is atv's. Pretty sure they allow two wheels then. :D

It was at a mechanics shop...they always torque the thing too tight!
