Nothing happening this weekend. I'll post here if something comes up next week. Tom is working and the other guy who would probably have been hosting it has family matters to attend to.

We have a guy here in the Cleveland area who needs a hand getting his lift parts installed. People were so generous in helping me last month that I'm trying to pay it forward by helping him. My catch is that I don't have much experience and have nowhere to work on things.

Ok, I look forward to meetup.

I have a 2 car garage, but 1 bay is full of stuff ( tables, brake rotors, a couch, bandsaw that needs moved stack of parts... I have been trying to organize/ cleanout things to make as much room as I can. The 2nd space is occupied by my 05. I could pull it out to make room if we didnt have anywhere else to work/ if it was raining.... If its nice out I usually work in front of my garage. because there is more room.

Drove my 05 thats finally back together to work today.

I keep smelling what I think is fuel.... I dont know if its risidual fuel from where the injector return lines were leaking when I first fired it up or what. It runs fine though, and I cannot find any visible leaks around the injector rail or any place visible. I guess worst case scenerio is it burns down while im at work today and insurance takes care of it.

any more word on a meetup >?

ORO, if you get down near Nelsonville and see a white lifted Cherokee with black wheels, custom front and rear bumpers with blue D rings,...that's my son going to college. He makes frequent visits to the Athens Walmart LOL

He likes his classes, hates the dorms. He is stuck in a co-ed dorm, most of the football players are on his floors. He said bathroom is like a locker room, they don't care if they wear clothes in there or not. He isn't happy about the 2 girls across the hall either, tired of the hair and fingernails that get under his door.
I'm glad he hasn't found any major offroading yet, I would probably be fixing his jeep. I had to drive there 2 weeks ago, he couldn't get the quick release tranny cooler line off the old radiator. He ended up breaking off the nipple on radiator and it took me an hour to get it free from the line. Rust had filled the quick release coupler and would not allow the fingers to let the nipple go, I had to pull fingers out with nipple. Once we got that out, install went pretty quick.
Still can't figure out why it runs so rough sometimes, missed bad, backfires. Shut it off, restart and runs fine. I've replaced almost every sensor, it maybe the computer. I dunno. Hard to fix when you are 2 1/2 hrs away.

Anyone go have fun in the snow last night?

I learned that the toyota 4runner does not even compare to the little liberties in the snow, just too big and tires to wide, does not handle near as good.

There's a few of us non-Facebook holdouts still here, Tom! :CAMPING:

Now I just noticed I have a water leak in the rear roof seam *again*! :banghead: But still not trading it in for anything else!!! $ Flexseal < $ Jeep payment! :D

Plus I love driving the darn thing. I had a loaner the other day while the dealer did a transmission service. Brand new Chevy Cruze for 24 hours. It is a very nice vehicle, but when I got back into my Jeep the next day, it was like, "Ahhhhhhhhh." That is more like it. 8)
