After reading all the reviews here and there, I really want to get the GY Wrangler Dura-tracs. After the lift of course. I hope they don't look small on 02 stock rims. 245/75/16 is the size I want. Any comments on that?

EXCEPT thats what Incommando has 245-75s on stock wheels, I think TBJ does as well, Chris has 245-75s on 8 inch Soft 8 wheels so lots of folks running that size tire, won't lose any power really and the Duratracs just look good!!

Tom, I really would like your opinion. What would the issue be on a stock rim? Or whats the deal with treadwright?

You may have to do some trimming to the front lower part of the bumper
it may contact the sway bar at full turn left or right, which is not really a problem you just adjust you turning
I say may due to everyone being just a touch different.
send Incommando a message to see what he had to do for sure on his He has about the same setup you'll have as far as springs etc.

Treadwrights are a good tire, just retreads, some people like them others do not. Reviews I have read most people have really good luck with them, mileage will not be as great as a new tire but they are also cheaper to buy.
I have two sitting in my garage in 265-70s they rode good for the 1500 miles I had them on.

Tahoe try and keep up

Jim does not have a Franky anymore,
did,
not anymore,
The Franky blew apart on him one day when he was at Scotts house
Springs and shocks bounced around off of trees / buildings / people but somehow managed to stay in the Dayton area,
rest of the Franky parts blew all the way up to Toledo and hit my garage roof
SO I KEPT THEM

Whats the difference between Falcon brand and Moog brand?

Author:  tommudd [ Fri Jan 29, 2010 3:45 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Needing help with install

Falcon are like an old Dodge Colt
Moog are like a Cadillac

in others words Falcon are more like OEM
Moog K1399
Most any parts stores can get them,
but after getting them make sure they have a grease fitting
ran across a couple that did not. ???

Moogs are better built, I use only Moog front end parts if at all possible and have for years with no problems. Just better parts in my book

948's for the rear never made it in. Going to have to reschedule to another weekend.

PICS!!!

It will take you longer to put the pucks/bumpstops on than the springs themselves.

Got everything but the nuts and pucks. Pucks are a hot commodity around these parts I guess.
