OK so I will be gone for a few days so lets see whats on your mind,
what you would like to see, do, not do, whatever while I am gone.

Also just so you know this has been in the works for a while now. A few of the Chicago area folks and I have been talking about some changes, then with the MODs / Admin came around this is what they did for us.

As far as officers any at all or just some one to sort of spearhead things.

any and all thoughts will be viewed and considered , this is your group , your place to post so go for it.

PM me if you do not want to post online.

If you want to talk to me let me know and I will give out my number to you

I am in no way taking over here as any type of President/Officer whatever just getting things started for you.

I don't shine anything, but meet & greets & a pig sound great. 4 off-road events, as part of the meet & greets or not, would be great.

How about developing some kind of hand out that we could put like under the windshield wiper of a Liberty we see in a parking lot inviting the person to either contact someone or check out the web site. Maybe this could stimulate more interest in L.O.S.T. Midwest/Ohio Towstrap

lets avoid putting stuff under peoples wipers at all costs

I live on a college campus, and bars and resturants put stuff under peoples wipers here all the time

ive had it rain before I got to my vehicle and have the flyer stuck and glued to my windshield and i drove to the resturant or bar and made them clean the crap off my windshield, one of the bars had to buy me a wiper because i couldn't get the paper off

a business card sized piece tucked in the shell of the door handle would be just as noticible and less likley to piss them off, expecially if you were to say.. print off a bunch of them, cut them and lay them on contact paper, and lay another sheet of contact paper over that, and then cut the cards out of the contact paper, then you have a sealed "business card" that resists weather

thats what i carry around with me even though ive only given like 3 out, most of the people around here with Jeeps, sorry to say, bad eggs :P

Yes. Rotate locations (Toledo, Columbus, Dayton, Cleveland, Athens etc)

I think vista.com will help design and give you 250 free business cards, you just pay shipping ( at least they were doing this a few years ago for our camaro club).
My only input is definitely a rotation of areas, but then you have to make sure members in that area are going to participate.

That's fine.

We'll just take the underground railroad to sneak SOUTH of the border

And then we'll impregnate your women, and non-inbred children will run rampant in Kentucky

Meet/Greet for vittles would work around Dayton, but there are ZERO wheeling places unless you know someone who will let you on to their land.

OK, so no posts here for a week. Guess I'll go first, how about we try to get together Sat. Apr. 4 - at one of Toledo's Metroparks. No wheelin', no wrenchin', (Tom & Chris!)just meet & greet and lots of bulls***ing. Bring your own lunch. Say.......11 am - 3 pm? Let's see who shows up. Wildwood Metropark 5100 W. Central Ave. Toledo, Ohiom (can't go to Swan Creek, too close to Tom's house  he could walk and we don't want that. ). If you can come ... show up, if not, someone in Southern Ohio can arrange the May meeting down there somewhere, and in june someone in Eastern Ohio can ramrod that meet & greet. Okay , it's a start.............................................maybe

sounds great or maybe even go down river a ways to the Mill where they have the Canal Boat etc. Nice area as well.

meh_kick said he would host one down at his place, so I will see what he says about May

June you can see where or when I leave the 10th for a month so somebody run with it!

I have to admit I have been just sitting back to see if anyone else chimed in, or had other thoughts, plus I do not want to seem like I am running it here in Ohio just getting things rolling.

Leadership can be discussed at some of the get togethers
