Looking forward to meeting everyone and getting out on some trails. It's taken a little while to get activated, but I'm fianlly in!!! Thanks to those who may have spoken on my behalf. I've met one of your guys some months ago when I bought his Liberty wheels to put on a Cherokee that I was building up. Long story short; every time I buy a Jeep (I've had 7 so far) I build it up, and then it just sits due to a lack of people to wheel with. I end up selling it and then get the itch again a few months later. I figured that I've owned practically every kind of Jeep except a Liberty so I went out and bought an 04 Limited. Now the buildup starts. Any and all opinions welcome on lifts, armor, tires, etc... I think I'm leaning toward a 2" BDS, but who knows? I look forward to the Troy, OH rally and meeting all of you who are attending. I'll be the guy in a bone stock Liberty.

Post subject:  Thanks for the welcome!!!

I figured this site was full of some good people and the all the welcoming messages prove it. Looking forward to the Rally For Life in May. I should be lifted by then, maybe some armor and maybe some tires. Still looking at options.

knock it out in a few hours????? Theres enough trained out in doing lifts in Ohio right now that we could pull it in the garage and back it out an hour later, with a wash and wax job as well

I'll let you guys know when I'm ready. I've got a decent sized garage and a fridge full of beer. How easy or hard is it to re-assemble the front strut/spring combo? Pain in the butt enough to have a shop do it or can we get a couple sets of spring compressors from O'Reilly's or Autozone and knock it out that way? I used them for my last Cherokee build and they were kind of a pain.

You can do it with rented/borrowed spring compressors but I have a local guy do them for next to nothing and since I have seen them come loose and take the side of my buddys head off I tend to let them do it

No beer ...need PIZZA
