Well, I don't want junk by any means. I certainly don't want cookie cutter name brand like rancho either. Junk. I want smooth custom valved shocks with a lift that will not require redoing the steering and CV shafts.

We don't use Rancho either
did use the old RSX line which were great but they discontinued them.
The RRO is an old joke so many think when they find them its a hidden treasure but if you read they have issues .
With the lifts we do you don't have to redo the steering and CVs .
The main lift is what we've installed here on over 24 KJs so far and works great
or jump up to the adjustable coilovers from JBA and really have a first class ride ( not that the OME or Ironman is not a really good ride which I'm sure any of the guys on here will tell you.

I don't want to get crazy as this my wife's ride. But the shocks are toast and I want something nice as I do drive it every now and then like tonight. We usually take it up to northern Michigan to our cottage. So it's more of a pavement princess. Lol

I'm hauling home a big electrical cabinet from work. Great heavy duty storage cabinet. 6' X 8' and 2' deep.

It will probably be spring time when the lift happens, but I'm really looking the 2.5 JBA gold. Does Al do the custom valving himself or id's that done at bilstein?

My F350 is going to get Kings 2.5 pin tops custom valving and springs from Carli. :grin:

I'm only thinking a 2.5" lift. Wife is only 5'0". Lol

She'll be able to climb in, my wife is 5'2" or so and makes it ( or did before ) My Mom is 5 1 or 2 is 81 and has had both knees replaced and climbs in mine all the time ( of course its only a smidgen over stock height ) :mrgreen:

Oxygen sensor :banghead:

Ran the engine for about ten minutes
crawled underneath and first 4 rounds very very easy.......
then started turning super hard
finally got it out and yep sensor threads are full, stripped out :banghead:

tried a couple of tricks ( and hopefully one worked ) so 20 minutes start to finish, done, but spent ten minutes of that time trying to find the wiring which had popped up and dropped down in behind the motor mount :roll:

Hopefully that takes care of the light on

Ugh - that sensor is a real pain. Having stripped threads makes it worse but for me the hard part was the connector - tough getting my hands in there so I could get a good grip so pull the connector apart.

Mounted them this evening and :banghead:

don't like them
Back to the drawing board, may mount them vertically between the headlight and the first slot in the grill on each side. Tired of playing with them now :dizzy:

Just getting ready for bed at 1 AM this morning and my wife PMs me. She's in the office doing paperwork and wants to talk ( which is wonderful, BUT......) finally at 5 AM my time ( her time is 1 PM ) she asks what time it is here . I tell her 5 AM and her response is "why are you up so late ??" :shock:

Gotta love her sense of humor :-)r

2nd time in a month she's asked me that question
we won't know how to talk to one another face to face when she gets back.
Of course maybe like dating someone new all over again! :pepper:
