Tom, thought of you today when I went past the Swanton exit on 80/90 on the way to visit my Michigan family. Those extended sway bar links you installed for me at your place are still working great! Are you still in the Columbus area or are you down near Marietta these days?

There are days I wish I was still up at Swanton But now down on the farm , out in the country about half way between Marietta and Wheeling WV Down where deer play every night in my front yard. Last night had 15 just in the front of the house |

To all of those that were ever at my place in Toledo or Swanton , you more than likely met Daryl One of my best friends he came to visit at least once a month Daryl called me yesterday to share a great loss His wife whom he married August 28, 1982 passed away after a long illness So keep him in your prayers at this time and going forward. I haven't said anything before due to Daryl being a very personal person , but he has now shared it on Facebook |

Sorry for your loss Daryl.... she's in a better place. Keep your head up! Ugh, horrible news.... need to have a 2 day meet and greet with a bon fire...  and put our minds in a different dimension....  Might as well keep the bad news going....  My Dad just lost his job.... he's 66.... his company let 40% of the company go... at least it was after Christmas... Speaking of Christmas.... it was great! except the last 40 miles to Charlotte when my front driveshaft ujoint decided to explode.. I knew what it was... decided to keep going and made it... it sounded horrible below 50 mph... I was lucky to have a shop replace all 3 front driveshaft u joints on Christmas eve... I know I have a driver side lower ball joint that's bad...and I think all the other u joints and ball joints etc are stock... I'm not messing around with replacing a new part every month... sooooo OVERHAUL TIME!  plus a hitch!   The only problem is, it's too freaking cold to do anything. Lol Later dudes!

Got the hitch mounted up last night... I had to remove the rear bumper to access the frame rail in order to fit the drivers side nut strip... why they only install the passenger side from the factory and not the drivers side is beyond me and stupid.  Every time I work on this thing I'm shocked as to how little/or no rust there is...  A few pics: bumper off, inside frame rail, and rear quarter panels....everything looks new!

Hey Chris, that site we were discussing ( Davis ) saw a couple of green XJs with sort of goldish colored wheels Now wondering what the Moabs would look like painted that color..............thoughts ?? Not sure |
