does anybody within an hour or 2 drive from Macedonia ohio, 44056, have a OEM upper left A-arm in good condition, maybe someone who upgraded to AL's arms? mine just broke and need one ASAP before this weekend, but dont want to buy a new one from the dealer or napa because im going to be upgrading to AL's arms, i just need my jeep for this weekend and need a working a-arm thanks, Ray |

http://car-part.com/ Found one 21 miles away from the zip you posted for $35. But the description says it "LOOKS GOOD". How do you check if a BJ is good off the vehicle?? |

So the ARM didn't break... It's the Ball Joint going out??? I have my stock set in the garage if you need one of them.... |

oh dont worry, i wasnt going to drive it 10 feet, that thing was bad! i just finished fixing it. i went to a junkyard down in massilon and got a upper control arm for 35 bucks, all fixed! much much nicer shape than my old one. much tighter steering, now when i turn my wheel on the highway or around town, my jeep actually turns instead of slop. I'm still getting the upper control arms from www.jeepinbyal.com .but they can wait a little bit until i can afford them. now that my jeep is safe to drive again. the passenger one i got replaced under warranty with a mopar brand new unit, about 6 months ago. i got the extended warranty when i got my jeep used. but this time around i couldnt do that because it expired |

Ray, Sorry I couldnt help you out with this man. If you remember, the boot on mine got all torn up when we tried to take it off with your dad's ball joint tool thingy! |

yea i remember that now.... "oh were taking it off and wont use it again, who cares if the boot gets ripped" lol i just ordered a set of als arms |
