What should LOST Ohio plan to do for the Jeep Relay for Life event?
I don't care, I wont be going 10%  10%  [ 2 ]
IF we are a named sponsor organization with the others, yes, I'll go 25%  25%  [ 5 ]
IF we are a named sponsor organization with the others, yes, and I will help 50%  50%  [ 10 ]
Nothing offical, but if KJ's want to go on their own... 15%  15%  [ 3 ]

We need information about:

· What to do/not do Friday evening w/the Relay for Life – rides for donations?

· Jeep games we want to play

· Activities for Children

· Saturday evening – pig roast a possibility again? That was great last year.

So let me know. I will be going. I will be getting us on the sponsoring clubs list. I WILL NEED LOGO ART! I will also need the people who said they would come and work it (like the recovery team :D ) to do so. May 8th, put in for it off now...

Oh, and I don't think the pig roast is going to happen this year, but maybe we could do a rib bbq...

I stole some photos from the 2009 relay thread. Dayton Daily needed more photos for something they are doing on the Jeep Rally and I thought some KJ's would look good in there. Sorry if anyone gets torqued that their photo was used w/o permission.

from Lestie (organizer of the Jeep Rally):

Quote:
Well, it has finally been decided.

Thursday, May 6th, the playground will be built. Blackie (member of the Miami County Fairgrounds board) from Blackie Excavating will have his backhoe there. We will need about 4-5 other people at a minimum and someone w/a Jeep or pickup truck w/chains.

Come and have FUN while your work. Here is the schedule; come when you can.

• Some of us will be there by 4PM to build a bridge over the horse track.
• The playground building will start around 5PM and get done around 7:30.
• If you have the time, we usually get some good food when we are done.

Quote:
Friday nite we give rides to children through the playground. We accept donations to help us raise money for Relay.

We need 5-6 Jeepers who are experienced at off-roading to be available from about 6-8 PM Friday, May 7th.

This is always a FUN time as we get to watch the big eyes of the children.

Please let me know if you will be helping with this delightful event.

Note: if you are camping at Poor Farmers then you could get back there in time for a campfire and good times.

PM or email me if you can make either of these two. I will collect and forward a single email from LOST.
