Sometime next month, around the middle of the month, I am hoping to have all the parts for my lift. I ran into Towstrap a few weeks ago and he mentioned a possible available garage that might be available with some expertise and tools? Anyone want to help out a fellow Ohio KJ'er?

OK
FIRST, We need a sworn statement that shows that you are going to keep your KJ for over two years.
SECOND, What food/ drinks can you provide for this help?
THIRD, will you be a contributing member of LOST OHIO?

Now you may think that these are rather silly questions. :ROTFL:
But over the period of the last 5 years I have helped with a "few" lifts
and some people want you to do it for nothing and starve while you're doing it,
they want you to help them install a lift but stand back and do nothing while its being done
( we like to teach by example so that you can then help others in the future)
OR they are on here everyday UNTIL we help them with a lift and then they are gone for good so we feel used and abused!

Now I am not picking on you, and most of the above is somewhat of a joke, but I am sure that anyone of us would be more than willing to help you or anyone, but we also want to see your smiling face in the future as well, that is assuming you currently have a smiling face!

With that said in your area only Scott has a garage/tools etc. , but then I have done lifts for people from Chicago, Munice, Cleveland, Marietta area up here so when do you have off? :ALONE:

Ok boys! I don't plan on being that guy......

Can I promise to have the KJ for the next two years, no. I plan on it, but you never know what will happen.

Being ex-military I completely understand the process of working for Beer (or beverage of choice) and food. You will not be starved or parched.

I do plan on contributing to LOST. I plan on meeting you guys next weekend!

As for anything else.........I am here to stay.

When it comes to doing the lift, I would like to actually take a ton of pictures and maybe some video. Comes in handyu later on down the road.

13th is a M&G at the Ski/Tubing place so that weekend is sort of out

I don't drink beer and wrench, later ..maybe

Pictures are fine, but my Actors Union card says any video of me I have to get minimum dollar amount for the video plus 2 bucks every time someone sees it. They are very strict you know

I suppose that will suffice! HOWEVER If I am attending this Lift session, a minimum of 30 cookies is a REQUIREMENT!!!!! :google:

Wow, all it takes to keep Chris away is to not bake? Can't beat that. :-)r

I'll lend a hand as long as I'm supervised. I can't be trusted on my own.

This is what I am getting.....

OME927's for the front
Rancho 17505's for the front

OME 948's for the rear
Rancho 17004 for the rear
Pucks for the rear

Bumpstops for front

Am I forgetting anything?

I was thinking of getting spacers for the wheels. Any recommendations?

Should I get top plate spacers?

This is my first lift....

Front top strut spacer's 3/8 or so is a good Idea !! if you are looking for 22in up front between axle and bottem of fender flair, for the rear a couple upper spring insulator's will do the trick to get the asss up to par !!

Spidertrax = wheel spacer's !!!! :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:

Where are you located?

The disadvantage to Saturday mornings for me is that I work. It depends on what is going on that day on what time I get off. If we have a remote live commercial, I can get out by noon...if not 9-5. Thanks to the union!

Then come up to the parking lot sometime and say hello! Look for the KJ with the AF Vet/ OEF Sticker.....

I don't want to interfere with Sunday plans if you have them. My days off are Sundays and Mondays. I can do Saturdays after 1pm.

So you work at (New's center 7) I thought Jim said you might, I think I have seen your KJ in the parking lot before !! If you get time stop by, at 1051 Tabor Ave. It's a little blue house with a 3 car garage behind the house with a red KJ and a brown dodge in the driveway most of the time !! :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:
