pretty much it, you doing a clevis in the front as well ?

I had the lift sit up the way i listed it to you except I didn't use "Boiler" top plates , I used my own
they will be coming out soon

Front UCAs are not needed you can get along for a while without them. I did for over 70,000 miles and mine were still good when I switched them out

Rear upper's....yes....two each side. I just need to find out where they sell them.

As for the UCA's, I think I am going to go ahead and replace them at the same time, just to get it out of the way.

As for the clevis.......I am not sure what the purpose would be. IS it to just level the vehicle out or does it actually serve a functional purpose?

I forgot the name of the wheel spacer company....what is it?

clevis will give you additional front lift. If you're going to put 2 extra isolators in the rear, you're going to be very tall back there. Probably in the vicinity of 23" unless you've got decent additional rear weight. The front will look low vs. the rear and require some clevis or taking an isolator out of the rear.

For 2005, the upper rear isolator is mopar part number 52088707AA. I have no idea if it changes for other years or not. Someone else may be able to confirm that it is the same # for all years. For some reason I'm thinking the same part works in all KJ. Call your local Chrysler / Jeep dealers and see how much they are. I got mine for 12 or 14 dollars each last summer but some people say they get quoted higher numbers.

You can probably google that number or also add "mopar" to it and find someone that sells them online, dunno.

If you think "you need" wheel spacers get Spidertrax and nothing else , they are the only ones I would sort of trust.

Why the "you need"? Are they not handy?

Don't see that they do anything except give you a wider look. You can run 245-75s on stock wheels with no spacers

Should pretty much do it I think :wink:May as well pound over the pinch welds at the same time, with the spacers/ plus tire size it may or may not hit but better to be ready than not

I remember a Sat last year, 12-15 LOST'ers, huge ole garage and driveway, big nice house,
1 1/2 epic battle with replacing battery, chili afterwards, ....only to never be heard from again.
I would gladly come help, but my Sat's are booked until March 21st. :banghead:

I am not going to shaft anyone.

I just need the help to do it and the group to find places to use it!

What do you mean pinch welds? I was hoping to go ahead do some trimming at the same time.

Is for 2 isos on each side in the back, too high?

2 iso's per side
better ask BOILER!!!!
I have two extra in mine, looks great, lots of others running two, actually mine is a little low in the rear, have always ran at least two extra , but you need to run a clevis as well
Boiler has two extra but.....
I should of done his lift the way I wanted to..... :ROTFL:

pinch weld is the raised portion right behind each tire, have to pound it over in some so that the tires do not rub. They don't always but depends on the lift etc you end up with and size tires

Tom, I owe you big time. With your help and everyone elses help I feel ready to tackle and lift project. I am really excited to get it installed and rolling with some of the other Ohio LOST'ers.

Like I said originally.

1. Lift
2. Tires
3. Recovery
4. Bumper/Winch

Tom that was my first official LOST M&G and learning party too even though Matt drove from Indy and I swapped in his new OME's the month before.
Someone on craigslist was selling bowling lanes, reminded me of Sperb's bar top.

Does Scott or any others have strut compressors or is there a local shop nearby to do swap? Or can the assemblies be put together beforehand? Don't you normally use the stock rubber cushions when assembly new springs/shocks?
Just throwing out randoms thought in my head...they don't come very often :SOMBRERO:  :ROTFL:

Yes you need to use the stock isolators from the front assembly.
I keep wanting to find a stock setup to use to switch out saving time when doing one up here. Mines going to someone on here, maybe he'll donate his old ones to the cause hint hint hint
