I just wanted to say thanks to Tom and the gang for letting me tag along with my KK today at the Rally for Life. Everyone I met was great. I wish I had more time to mingle, but had to get my daughter off to her recital practice. Didn't make it back in time to see who won any of the raffles. Tom, inspection of my underside shows only real nice scrape marks from the break over obstacle. THE SKIDS HAVE BEEN ORDERED :-)r In the mean tmie, I still need to complete my switch from the Daystar spacers to the JBA rear coils. Just gotta find the time now. I hope everyone made it home safely.

I had a good time and it was great to see everyone again. I dropped $15 on the raffle for the heck of it, put em all on a little jeep bike with training wheels for my oldest daughter and I won it. It is the perfect size for her, she's JUST big enough to ride it, and she LOVES it. Really made it a great day.

Congrats Boiler! I also had a great time and was glad to be able to get together with everyone again. Hated to have to leave so early but I had a birthday/mothers day thing to get to. Hope to see everyone again soon!

Another Jeep event, another miss. My youngest daughter had a Girl Scout Camporee event near Columbus and they were short one driver and chaperone. Needless to say, when you've got 6 kindergarteners looking at you pleading, it's pretty tough to say no. Wish I could've been there. Let's see some picts please.

Sperb, I had the identical experience last weekend for my son and his Boyscout troop. :) Spring camporee to help make preperation for summer residence camp. We had nice temperatures, but got dumped on from major rainstorms.

LOST made a great showing in the raffle. Towstrap won a hat & one of those LED hat-light thingies. Chris won a jacket and a 4wdhardware gift certificate. I won a Sirius radio with a car kit and a $50 gft card to 4wd hardware.

Sadly, my KJ kissed some concrete on one of the obstacles. May we spare a moment of silence for my L.Front marker light? :dead:

SKids: DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT THEM ON A KJ! lol.

The 180-something jeep parade led by a WWII half-track was neat. Taking the Liberty over everything but the hardest obstacle rocked. Hearing some positive KJ comments and having people ask about the KJ's afterwards gave us a chance to be LOST ambassadors.

if you had bumped up on that properly and not treated the skinny peddle like gas was $10/gal, you'd still have that blinker :-)r

<---- Occasionally the driver is overly front-diff conscious.

Thanks to Moose, Tom, Chris and all of the others who gave their time so that we could play.

Just got back home from my 700 PLUS mile weekend!
Great to see everyone who made it
Thanks to all of you for being good KJ Ambassadors

NOW TO THOSE WHO WERE LAYING UNDER MY JEEP WHEN I GOT DONE "WORKING" ........WHAT DID YOU FIND?

I have a very few pictures, it was hard to guide people over and take pictures as well.
As you can tell from that one shot Chris was no help at all and stood by like a cold little boy all day! :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL:

It looks like Tom's front drive shaft runs a lot closer to the front cross-member than mine does, although they are different years. Huh? Maybe a few other observations. We don't often get an opportunity like that. Towstrap and others

no pictures of your pit slave? nice.

Afterwards, I went down to Menards, got looking at stuff, ran my hand through my hair, and it got stuck in the mud! some of those idots throwing rooster tails pelted me pretty well. :furious:

BTW: Everyone probably has their own method for cleaning mud, but If I can't wash it off immediately I let it set a day or two and harden up. Then I crawl around the jeep chipping mud off with a screwdriver. It gets me a chance to look over the old girl at the same time. Then I use a low pressure electric powerwasher on it.

Well, Monday I removed one full and one partial 5 gallon bucket of dried Miami County Fairgrounds mud from the undersides of the KJ.
