Not too bad of a list at all We do have shocks though no struts Don't have to move the washer bottle if you don't want to even with a ARB, mines still in the stock location. ARB provides a cover over it. Does yours have skid plates already? Rear tow points? With the ARB up front you'll have that covered but for the rear? Hitch maybe for the rear? |

After reading tons of posts, it seems that some people use the terms shocks/struts interchangebly. I know there's a difference...just not exactly what it is. As for the shocks...what's a good recommendation on replacements for the discontinued Rancho RSXs? I've seen mention of Bilstein but no model numbers that I could find. Any other info on missing part numbers for the lift portion would be helpful. I'm still not sure what some of the parts are or where to get them. (I've been assuming that the "pucks" are actually hockey pucks) I'll continue to do research on my end and fill in the blanks as I go but any help would be appreciated. Eduardo |

Yes "Pucks" are actually Hockey "Pucks" some use rubber mallet heads, all depends on what ya got layin around, two of my pucks were hurricane game pucks *shrug* the Pioneer DEH2200UB or the Kenwood MP3U head units will be perfect make sure to keep your old speakers handy, you'll end up wanting to cut some tabs off them to rig to the pioneer 6.5's more than likely, stock mounting on the KJ's are friggin strange front: bilstein PN# front strut(shock) is JBA-F4-BE5-D916-H0 or Bilstein F4-BE5-D916-H0 which jives with the 02-07 KJ's same shock as the new dodge nitros use OME PN# is NS130 Rancho RS5000 is RS5764 rear: bilstein JBA-F4-BE5-6458-H7 or bilstein F4-BE5-6458-H7 OME N132 or N132-L(for 3+) Rancho RS5000 is RS5284 RS9000XL is RS999248XL (above are 03ish Durango 4WD shock) part sources i've personally used and had 0 trouble with in order of personal preference and performance: Jeepinbyal.com rockauto.com tirerack.com occasional light trouble: amazon.com summitracing.com autopartswarehouse.com -- also for misc. STUFF, my personal favorite is northerntool.com, give'r a browse, or order one of their free master catalogs, it'll occupy your eyeballs for a week or so -- lift PN# that are missing for like brake line extensions, front bump stops etc, if you go to http://www.jeepinbyal.com (no it's not a shameless plug) but he's got everything listed by category, the part number is listed in the product ID and prefixed with JBA, remove the JBA and you have the manufacturer PN# for instance, the bilstein rear shock on jba is listed as JBA-F4-BE5-6458-H7, the bilstein PN is F4-BE5-6458-H7 that should help should you decide to price shop, I pretty much don't bother anymore, if JBA has it I get it from JBA or ask him to special order it check-check? I know things like the front bump stops from terraflex are available at other vendors, however I'm not sure who carries reputable items for the brake lines other than JBA some brake line extensions simply required moving the bracket down which can be done with some scrap metal versus replacing an entire brake line extending breathers is just another trip to lowes or maybe orileys or whatever ya got, for hose to hose joiners eg. male/male plastic hose friction connector and then additional hose, a few small radiator clamps and or some zipties |

They come with a mounting bracket that fits the KJ friggin strange stock mountings. Thank you for taking the time to give me all of the other info. I'm going to save up a little cash then probably start ordering lift parts. |

If I were to go with the Frankenlift II Premium, with brake line extensions from ALLJs. I would still need the Upper A Arms, Moog Lower BJs, and Conduit nuts from Lowes. Would I still need Boiler's Front Shims? or any of the other individually listed lift items? Just trying to make sure that when I order, I get everything I need in one fell swoop. Thank you all again for taking the time to answer. Megalos |

IF... you are going with the Frankenlift then no you do not need any of the listed items just the Franky, Front bumpstops and two extra rear upper isolators, 4 hockey pucks two per side Now down the road when it settles in after a few years you can always bump it up then. New the Franky pretty much puts you at the top of where you want to be. ( well for most normal sane people it is) UCAs are an option as stated before but if you're doing it all at once sure If you come to the M&G you can get some ideas of where you want to be, who has what etc. |

So I'm getting ready to pull the trigger and order some lift parts. JeepinbyAl.com has the OME lift (F: OME927/NS131, R: OME948/N132L) for $760 (before any taxes and shipping). Does this seem to be about the best price? I can't find any other better deals for new parts out there but maybe I'm missing something. |

That price sounds about right. If you need help installing it I can always lend a wrenching hand and a few beers to help getting it done. You'll be one step ahead of me too, since I still have a daystar in the rear

I just looked up everything for someone else the other evening that I'll be doing soon. Most everyone has the OME springs at about the same price but here was my shopping list OME springs from Marlin ( Jeepinbyal) shockwarehouse has Bilsteins for fronts 89.95 each F4BE5D916HO and rears for 75.70 each ah forgot to write the number down but I'll get it. Free shipping as well on the shocks But end result was about 648.70, plus shipping cost of the springs |
